About Nancy O’Neil, LCSW

My approach to psychotherapy is a collaborative and flexible partnership with each client. I believe thattrust, respect, non-judgment, genuineness, and compassion form the foundation of a therapeutic relationship.

Through the process of psychotherapy, I endeavor to help clients gain insight and perspective into their relationships and behaviors with the intention of achieving positive change. We will work together to identify treatment goals and expectations at the outset of treatment and will ensure that the focus of therapy is on the most salient issues.

I began my career over 25 years ago in the Substance abuse and co-occurring treatment field, working with adults, couples and families. I have experience as a Bereavement therapist for Hospice. I’ve been in private practice for over 20 years and find it a privilege to work collaboratively with my clients who have taken the steps to reach out for support and the willingness to address areas of their lives that are causing fear and pain.
