What would it mean to feel more like yourself again, or for your relationship or family to communicate with more understanding and less strain: whether you are navigating a difficult transition, the demands of parenting, the pressures of academic life, or recurring conflict with a partner or family member? I am an existential and humanistic psychotherapist licensed in California since 2017, with clinical training grounded in relational Gestalt therapy. My graduate work spans a master’s in psychology from Pepperdine, with specialized training in Gestalt therapy, an earlier master’s in philosophy that still shapes how I think about the questions people bring into the room, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership. I help clients recognize the patterns shaping their choices and bring those patterns into awareness, staying grounded in present-moment experience and treating the therapeutic relationship itself as central to the work. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing burnout, relationship difficulty, grief, or life transitions. I have experience supporting mothers navigating identity and role change, and women navigating leadership roles. I also work with people navigating the pressures of higher education and study stress, though my practice is not limited to any of these groups. You do not need the right words or a fully formed goal to begin; we can start with whatever feels most pressing.
