As a psychologist, I work with individuals who not only want to positively shift their current life problem or concern, they also want to view their struggles differently. Getting a different perspective on your life issue often changes the issue itself.

I have worked as a psychologist for over 30 years, having used many types of psychotherapeutic approaches with many different types of issues. I am trained in depth psychotherapy as well as problem-focused therapy.

One of the key elements of therapy is the therapeutic relationship, the ease with which we can be ourselves with the therapist. With that potential of trust at the start, therapy can be more of an adventure with surprise understandings, curiosities and insights we might not have known before.

In my work, I always incorporate not only the psychological understandings that are important, but also the deep body feelings and sensations that lie beneath these psychological insights. Through the use of mindfulness, self-awareness, conscious inquiry and breathwork, these feelings can be explored and known in a fresh way. This can help shift old patterns.

I have a general practice of psychotherapy where I work with adults on life issues and concerns. Examples include, relationship concerns, anxiety, life transitions, grief work and self-confidence.

Described below are the types of therapy and issues where I have extra training and experience:
