Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re struggling with anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported as you navigate whatever has brought you to therapy.
I work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, PTSD and complex trauma, grief and loss, substance use and recovery, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, family conflict, and life transitions. I have a particular passion for working with couples and helping partners strengthen their connection, improve communication, heal old wounds, and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply relational. I believe that our relationships—with ourselves and with others—have the power both to wound and to heal. Much of my work is grounded in attachment theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS), and I also draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), psychodynamic theory, mindfulness-based approaches, somatic therapies, family systems theory, and other evidence-based practices. Together, we’ll explore not only what’s happening in your life today, but also the experiences and relationship patterns that may be influencing how you feel, connect, and cope.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working internationally in post-conflict and humanitarian settings, supporting communities recovering from trauma, adversity, and loss. Those experiences deepened my understanding of resilience, human connection, and the remarkable capacity people have to heal and grow, even after profound hardship.
As a clinician, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship that feels safe,authentic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I recognize that vulnerability can be difficult, and I view therapy as a collaborative process in which we work together to understand your experiences, uncover your strengths, and help you move toward the life and relationships you want.
