About Tricia Coxhead

I am licensed as a Marriage Family therapist as well as a Physical Therapist. My interest in psychotherapy came from my observation and subsequent realization/understanding of the close relationship between the body and mind as I worked in the field of physical therapy. I have taken this knowledge into my psychotherapy practice and have incorporated it into the work I do with the clients I see. During sessions clients are invited to be aware of their bodies where they feel sensations, where they may be holding tensions, anxieties, pain.

I am trained in hypnotherapy and expressive arts and if clients are interested I use such expressive tools as drawing, claywork, sand tray to access the deeper aspects of themselves. I am fascinated by the complexity, resiliency, strength and courage of the human spirit and feel honored to accompany clients on their journey of deeper self discovery and understanding.
